Introducing Agile Methods to a Team that has nothing to do with building "Products"
You can still be agile even if you're not building a "Product". That's mostly because everything can be seen as a product. And then be built like one.
The basic principles of Agile and Scrum can be applied to all kinds of work, and that is what a small and very committed team and I did:
We looked at their current situation, pain points and problems, and transformed some tools and ideas from Agile and Scrum to create solutions for them.
The result may not be "Scrum by the Book", but it's Scrum that works for the team.
