I’ve Written an Easter Egg And Now it’s Gone

I just migrated my website, and now the easter egg nobody found is gone.

Was it a success? That is actually quite hard to say. On one hand, it was wildly successful in being hidden. On the other hand, nobody was able to enjoy the fun experience I planned for them. Maybe it was technically a success, but failed on what it tried to achieve.

But if it was wildly successful, and known and popular, it wouldn’t have been a well designed easter egg, would it?

Maybe it wasn’t a success for you, because you didn’t find it and couldn’t play around with it (this operates under the assumption that you enjoy these kinds of things).

But it was definitely a success for me, because I enjoyed writing it, and I also enjoyed the idea of it being in existence. Maybe, some things just need to be in order to be a success.
